University Projects

  • Evaluating adhesive bonding properties of T-joint between 3D-printed stiffener and CFRP laminate manufactured by VARTM, Flinders University, Adelaide, 02/01/24, 07/31/24, Led a project to investigate and optimize the adhesive bonding of 3D-printed stiffeners with Carbon Fibre-reinforced Polymer (CFRP) laminates. My goal was to enhance fabrication techniques by using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) for the stiffeners and Vacuum-assisted Resin Transfer Molding (VARTM) for epoxy infusion. I assessed the tensile and bending strengths of PLA and PA12-CF materials and evaluated the performance of various adhesive-bonded T-joint configurations. The project aimed to improve bonding efficiency and provide valuable insights into the practical applications of 3D-printed components in engineering., Achieved a Distinction for the final project
  • Solar Vehicle Design Intern, Flinders University, Adelaide, 11/01/22, 03/31/23, Worked on the Solar Tricycle BWSC project, an innovative initiative aimed at advancing sustainable transportation. This project focuses on developing a solar-powered vehicle that utilizes renewable energy sources to offer an efficient and eco-friendly transportation solution., Design and Engineering: Assisted in designing the vehicle's lightweight structure, aimed at reducing aerodynamic drag and enhancing fuel efficiency., Aerodynamics: Worked on optimizing the Tricycle's aerodynamics to enhance the vehicle's performance., Technology Integration: Engaged in incorporating solar energy technology into the vehicle., Project Documentation: Contributed to compiling reports that outlined the project's progress.
