  • This position reported to the general manager property, which had an annual budget expenditure of $10 million that covered over 350 stores for Repco and Ashdown Ingram
  • The role covered the internal store layout, designs and proposed fit outs for all key stores
  • Strategic relationships and continuous tendering and negotiation to achieve financial savings for each project, plus fixture design and development as required
  • My procurement skills were well used in this role with sourcing from local and overseas suppliers
  • A team of twelve people reported to me, plus at times this grew when extra staff and contractors were required to complete a number of projects simultaneously

Accomplishments

The implemention of better procurement procedures for Proud Products saw a reduction in costs of all raw materials, which flowed through to a stable control of the business system pricing for sales. The end result was a strong bottom line profit, which was a turn around from previous negative results.


The Creation of a fluid brand style-guide across all products for Euca to maintain the family look which flowed through to the marketing and website design as well.


Completed the task of managing the whole factory move for Proud Products. Included tendering for all aspects of the exercise, designing the new layout, managing the move and all staff through to completion.
