Dedicated and meticulous metallurgical laboratory technician with a strong background in research and development, holding a master's degree in chemistry from the University of Bristol. Throughout my career, I have cultivated exceptional skills in data analysis, safe laboratory practices, experiment design and practical scientific techniques, honed through diverse experiences as an undergraduate, research and development scientist, and most recently, as a metallurgical laboratory technician. My hands-on expertise is supported by a solid foundation in scientific theory and a broad proficiency in various analytical techniques.
Prior to my time travelling Asia and Australia, I worked as a Research and Development Scientist at Surrey NanoSystems, specialising in the synthesis, development, and scale-up of ultra-black thin film coatings. After transitioning to the mining industry as a Laboratory Technician, I am now focused on advancing into a leadership role within this sector.
