I have been fortunate enough to have gained valuable skills and experience within corrections through various roles, including K9 Handling, IRT, EHS and by also learning the ins and outs of daily correctional centre routines from my time working within the wings of correctional centres.
I work very well within a team but also perform just as well working autonomously when directed. I believe Correctional Officers must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and inmates alike.

- Played an integral role in containing major disturbances, by performing such tasks as, deploying gas from launchers and foggers. Conducting cell and yard entries. Participating in riot formations. Arrest and apprehension of inmates and conducting secured inmate movements.
- Respond to incidents within the centre, such as, inmate assaults, staff assaults, non compliant inmates.
