Duties: Supporting and leading the Southern team /region in the absence of the Workforce Solutions Manager
Screen, interview and select apprentices and trainees for referral to Host Employers for placement and rotation to alternate Hosts, when necessary, Induction of and monitoring visits with apprentices, trainees and Host employers, Provide mentoring, care, guidance and support to apprentices, and trainees where relevant working with Host employers from commencement to completion.
Conduct WHS Inspections and Incident reports/Investigations, reverse market suitable and out of trade apprentices and trainees to host employers, assist apprentices and host employers to complete Training Plan competency verification,
Support ASSN sign ups and progress reporting.
Monitor RTO studies and sign off with Host employers and other documentation, Promote available Apprenticeship Incentives to eligible host employers.
Promote and sell HTVC services and Group Training module to current and perspective host employers, actively manage/purse business opportunities through referrals, networking- both during and after-hours events, and cold calls, reporting on activity, leads, placements and suspended Apprentices and Trainees during month PDP reviews with Workforce Solutions Manager.
Regular travel throughout region(regional NSW as required)conducting monitoring visits and networking visits, business development and attending meetings, maintaining records in Ready Recruit database to actively managing caseload, support other members of the Southern team if and when necessary, actively take part in Team meetings and regular discussions one on one with Workforce Solutions Manager and all respective management as necessary to ensure a well- rounded understanding across the needs of the GTO business and any changes that may need to be made with the day to day operations within the Workforce Solutions Specialist role

with Culturally and linguistically diverse organisations within the community, general day to day tasks, day to day administration tasks,
