I started at Peakhurst Early Centre in December 2017 as a casual, filling in when someone was sick or on holidays. I was then offered four months of three days per week as holiday relief that I did in June to August 2018, rotating shifts. I love helping children learn through both play and routines. Since having my own children, I have a greater understanding of how important a child’s early years are to their learning and love that I have the ability to help children to develop new skills.

I first started at Macquarie in 2003 as a cashier then in June 2005 applied and was successful in moving into the Internal relief officer role in client services. This involved covering for staff in six different teams, I learnt a lot in this time.

I was in the IRO role for one year and then applied and successfully received a promotion to Associate Manager - Team leader. I was responsible for three teams Payments, AML and Merchant support. This included coaching and training staff, leading projects, authorising payments and overall ensuring staff resources were fulfilled on a day to day basis.
