- I manage a 10-person product development and deployment team, 8 onshore resources (2 in
- Melbourne and 6 in Sydney) and 2 off-shore (Bangalore)
- The team is split into development and deployment
- The product is a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) monitoring and scheduling application
- It is built on the Splunk platform and leverages the big data capabilities of Splunk, the product integrates with ServiceNow, Twilio and other internal Automation software products (hosted in docker containers)
- The “brain” of the Application is an AI Smart Scheduling Algorithm
- The backend is written in Python and C#
- We have 8 active clients and 3 active deployments
- My role as product owner is to manage the roadmap of the product, manage the deployments and pricing models for new clients and provide support for existing clients
