Notable Accomplishments

  • Lead the school through a significant process of change that was driven by 34 recommendations from the 2015 IB evaluation. The 2020 IB evaluation report included 4 recommendations and 14 commendations.
  • Lead the school's transition into the 2020 program standards and practices, including leading the school through program development plans.
  • Developed and implemented a school-wide, systematic approach to teaching and learning
  • Led the development of a new Year 5 farm campus focused on sustainability and environmental outcomes with a project value of $1.5m. The project received sustainability awards for its dedication to environmental initiatives, 2016-2024
  • Project Working Group member, responsible for a $17.5 million development project for new junior school buildings and a car park, including project scope, budget, design, construction, and recruitment from 2020 to 2023
  • As part of the executive team, I lead the Victorian and Tasmanian PYP Network, which includes over 80 schools
  • Developed and led a coaching-based system for providing teachers with feedback related to their teaching.
  • Initiated and created a strong relationship with Deakin University, completing some sessional lecturing, advising their teacher training program, and hosting a large number of student teachers.
