Working in an administrative and team support capacity at one of Australia's leading providers of Vocational Education and Training of English as a second language, I was responsible for supporting the well-being of members of the student cohort, to ensure a positive experience in their private education

  • Collaborated with faculty members to identify at-risk students and develop personalized intervention plans for academic success.
  • Administration of student information and documentation using the Axcelerate Program and PRISMS;
  • Organised large-scale events for student bodies, with a focus on team building and exposure to Australian culture to enhance the learning experience;
  • Provided counselling to students experiencing issues with housing, legal aid, and personal and mental wellbeing, including referring them on to specialised services and/or providing additional resources for assistance where necessary;
  • Maintained a database of Under 18 Student rolls and contact with parents/guardians
  • This included daily checks of attendance, and ensuring all absences of student under 18 were accounted for to minimise potential liability issues
