Development Service Crew

• Repair and install and maintain vent in development heading, mostly consisting of 1400 and 1220.
• Extend 63mm services in active development drives when needed (water, air and pump lines)
• Extend firing lines and comms in development drives when needed.
• Dewatering the mine (maintaining mono pumps and submersible pumps)
• Install, grout and tension cable bolts when needed.
• Safety putting out spot-fires that may arise during the shift
• Assist development charge up when needed
• Safe operation of volvo integrated tool carrier
• Keeping stores and laydown yard neat and tidy

Nipper

• Asking the Jumbo operators if they need anything at the start of shift from the surface
• Delivering things they need at start of shift (Rock oil, hydraulic oil, drill bits, steels, shanks, couplings, paint, rags, lifter tube...ect)
• making sure next headings are always set up and checking heading conditions (adequate ventilation, services within 50m from face, enough bull-hose if needed, correct signs hung on correct chain)
• Assisting jumbos bolting headings to help get cuts on the deck
• Making sure all left over bolts and mesh are removed from the heading prior to firing
• assist development bogger operators by watering down heading for them

Underground Truck Driving

• conducting a thorough pre-start at the start of every shift
• conducting visual checks of the truck throughout the shift
• good communication on radio with loader operators, other truck operators, decline users and mine control
• safe operation of underground truck
• experienced in training "green" truck drivers
• experience and RPLs for Atlas MT65 & Sandvik TH663

Underground Drillers Offsider

• Conducting a thorough Pre-start on LV
• Loading the ute up with more then enough drill consumables for the shift
• Underground operation of Light vehicle
• Once arriving at drill site, walking from sign to drill rig to check for any hazards in work area
• Conducting a visual pre start on tools and equipment (checking for hazards and damage)
• Safely assisting driller in normal drill operators
• experienced in drilling with 3 meter, 6 meter and 9 meter drill gear
• Rod pulls when required
• keep work area neat & tidy and free of rubbish
• Taking all rubbish to the correct areas on the surface at the end of every shift
