  • My Role within South Metropolitan Health services was divided up between multiple wards and departments. I have a background between Age care Rehabilitation nursing, Medical wards Nursing as of current Out Patient Plastics nurse dressings, having an diverse background between these departments and wards has allowed for many skills to be developed as well as getting a wider knowledge on different kinds of nursing such as bedside nursing as well as nursing clinics. - whilst completed my university studies, I had worked part time in a pharmacy completed patient prescriptions as well as working along side and coordinating patient medications to be made up in to webster packs whilst coordinating with Doctors surgeries and patients to collect prescriptions.

Having this added background of medications and liaising with other medical professionals allowed for my pharmacology background to be more widespread as compared to other departments as community pharmacy work deals with many medications for all types of health conditions compared to specialised wards in which staff only work with selected medications to their area of work e.g. cardiac medications in a cardiothoracic ward. other skills included but are not limited to
