Summary

Recently, moved from Queensland to Mogo, NSW and currently working casually cleaning private residences and Air bnb has helped have impeccable standards in maintaining a sanitized and clean environments. Expert at using various cleaning tools and materials. Strong work ethic and commitment to quickly and correctly completing jobs.

Although, I have not officially worked in a paid position as a non-medical care provider. I have provided in-home care for multiple years to both my intellectually disabled sister and 72-year-old grandmother suffering from bowl cancer for multiple years. Throughout those years I was unable to work due to both of them needing constant medical attention and daily support. Daily duties consisted of complete all domestic duties, helping them both with self-care and hygiene and provide companionship. Analyse and anticipating my sisters needs as she is partially non-verbal and then proactively addressing those needs. As well as, assisting and planing meal following dietary restrictions for diabetes and colostomy bag care. Above all, no matter physical, intellectual or mental restriction it is important to have fun and enjoy each others company.

Finally, highly encourage by friends and family member to pursue a career as a carer or registered nurse. This encouragement has led to start pursuing a career in both. Currently studying a Certificate III Individual Support (Ageing) finishes February 2025 and starting Registered Nursing at UOW Collage Bateman's Bay October 14th. Also, online Dementia Care coarse University oof Tasmanian in December.
