Shot stay clinical area where patient are transferred to other hospital or facility. Patient who are admitted to the hospital but require a bed also come through Transit care canter.


Patient who are discharged and awaiting family members to pickup and or have complex transport are also accepted in TCC. While these patients are waiting to be transported to their destination, Nursing role is to provide comfort, reassurance, and medical oversight during transit, contributing to positive patient experiences and outcomes.


In addition to that, all their clinical care is a sole responsibility of the RN.
