I am a hardworking,loyal,reliable & dedicated Instrument Technician with 14 years experience within Alfred health ( including a 3 month secondment as Grade 5 at Sandringham CSSD. I have been in a supervisory position for 9 years & was a team leader from becoming a grade 2 .

I enjoy a challenge & embrace change within our field as protocols,procedures & standards update.

I work well under pressure & work enthusiastically when troubleshooting is needed, communicating well with Management & staff when situations arise.

I have been involved in various committees, coming together with upper management to solve quality issues &have recently assisted with advice in a planning committee for a new department.

I am able to see the bigger picture within the organisation & take other departments needs into consideration.

If I am unsure of anything, I will always consult others & seek solutions correctly within the hierarchy ladder.

I have good interpersonal skills & have an enquiring mind.

Overseeing a team of 60+ technicians with varying levels of experience.

Ensuring Instrumentation is processed correctly & in a timely manner for anticipated use & taking into consideration fast tracks & priorities.
