- Key responsibilities: Demonstrated ability to follow processes and procedures to achieve contractual compliance and developed and maintained effective business relationships with clients, all team members and subcontractor and management
- Accurately read blueprints, project plans and specifications, determine material needs, estimate costs and prioritise tasks to minimise production delays and invoicing
- Comply with all sites OH&S procedures including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS), wearing the correct P.P.E for the task, contributing to daily pre-start and all toolbox meetings, permits to work and hazard identification and reporting
- Maintain good housekeeping throughout the work site, using the correct barricading for the area, cleaning up any debris and removing rubbish from the work site
- Safely utilised various tools and equipment including hand and power tools, excavators, trenches, vac trucks and bobcat ensuring all equipment is in good working order before operating
- Restoration of all concrete works including structural and minor works
- Ensuring effective two-way radio communication when overseeing the running of the job which involved traffic control
- Conduct daily vehicle pre-start inspections before operating, driving to conditions on sealed and un-sealed roads, following traffic management plans on-site, checking all fluid and oil levels, tyre pressure, communication systems, air tanks, electrics, lights, fuels and reporting any defects.

- Operated my own Company for over 20 years working for many different organizations including Hutchinson Builders, Construction Group (Aust), Aspect Constructions, and RCQ Constructions, building new apartments and town house complexes and renovations
- Key Responsibilities: Conduct all aspects of building works for various domestic and commercial projects including extensions, renovations, patios, sheds, re-roofing and insurance jobs, forming up concrete slabs, footing and retaining walls, pouring, screeding and finishing concrete, including installing trim deck, and cool room panelling, gyprock, flashings, installing door frames, window frames, skirting, architraves, detailed timber and fitting internal hardware
- Renovated countless homes for clients by adding bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, decks, fences and carports
- Perform general maintenance duties including formwork and concrete finishing including pouring, screeding and finishing concrete along with fixing gyprock, flushing and painting of surfaces, metal roof construction and cladding
- Accurately read blueprints, engineering plans and specifications for carpentry work including formwork systems to determine material needs specifications and prioritise tasks to minimise production delays ensuring it meets structural integrity
- Liaise closely with all key stockholders including steel fixers, crane drivers, carpenters, riggers, scaffolders, supervisors, operators and construction site managers to ensure projects comply with safety standards and per KPI objectives
- Quoting, estimating materials, working within project timelines, ordering materials, orgainising trades, site supervising, quality control and material requisitions
- Employed over 15 apprentices who completed their apprenticeship in carpentry.
