• Experience in building small to large scale structures including such works as tunnels, bridge works, major scale paving for airport and rail projects, and gas and coal mining projects.
• Experience in lift shafts, jumpform, steel, timber and girder beam installations.
• Install formwork components, concrete placement and finishing.
• Constructing and installing concrete pits and encasements insitu for electrical and communication cables.
• Drainage works, steel fixing, finishing works, concrete curing, cutting and patch repair works.
• High risk works including working around live rail infrastructure, working at heights and knowledge of full restraint systems, working platforms and scissor lift operations.
• Prepare layout of the project while maintaining the OHS requirement policies and procedures for a safe and clean work area.
• Knowledge using a wide range of forms, shutters, docka and perri form, cup lock systems and scaffold systems.
• Competent in using all aspects of power tools and hand tools for formwork.
• Estimate heights, width, length, cover and other proportions.
• Excellent eye for detail from start to finish.
