CKC practitioner advocate on behalf of the carer supporting the child/ren on care:

• Assess to support services including counselling, mental health services and training programs.
• Helping caregiver manage unique challenges of caring for children int he foster care system

Advocating for educational resources and support for both carer and child/ren. This would involve ensuring child has

access to quality eduction and the caregiver also have supports in place for up to date education on trauma programs

• CKC practitioner advocate for improved healthcare service for children and their caregivers. Which includes ensuring that the children have yearly health check-ups, assess to necessary medical treatments and the carer's are supported in navigating the healthcare system
• Advocating for carer's and children in care ensuring that caregiver understands their rights and responsibilities, standard of care and protect and promote the well-being of the child/ren in out of home care Recognising the potential of trauma on children in care, as a
• CKC practitioner advocate for trauma-informed care practices. This involved in promoting approaches that consider the unique needs of children who have experienced trauma and providing appropriate support to children and carer
• Advocating for financial supports for caregiver is crucial, as caring for children in the foster care system can come with additional financial burdens.
