Hobbies and Interests

I love everything to do with cardiac surgery, and indulge in this passion by hosting a podcast about the field that allows me to showcase my concurrent love of teaching and research and which has by now amassed an international following. While working a full time job, things that I enjoy doing to recharge my batteries are recording episodes for my podcast; playing Golf at a club level; exercising 4-5 times a week; and always finding a new recipe to cook. These help me destress and consequently engage with my work more effectively, which will all be critical to thrive as a junior doctor. Lastly, coming from Mauritius originally, it does not take a lot of convincing to get me to do anything that is beach related.
