Work Experience

During high school in 2023, I applied to do work experience at Mount Isa Base Hospital to gain an understanding of the medical field and how employees work on their day to day life as medical employees. During the week at the Hospital, I was able to go into different wards such as the Surgical, Medical, Theatre, ICU and Paediatrics as well as the Maternity ward. Through this, I was able to do hands-on, simple tasks and was able to observe doctors with patients and the nurses.
