Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1):

• I have maintained RN Registration with AHPRA continuously since October 2007
• I have 8 years of full time post registration experience working in an Acute Respiratory Medicine Ward, D5a/c since March 2016. I have successfully transitioned into the Team Leader role in D5a/c. This motivates me to pursue my vision of being an inspiring person by supporting my colleagues in every possible way to cater better care for health consumers an aim for positive outcomes

• I am able to provide coordinated collaborative and consultative approach to the clinical education and assessment. Being a senior nurse in the ward and team leader, I promote direct supervision, education and training to the new graduate RN's and EEN's in the ward. I am able to assess them as per compliance with the hospital's policies and procedures. I have been able to provide clinical support incorporating adult leaning opportunities.
• Providing regular formal and informal in-services within the ward covering the current clinical needs and provide daily clinical support for al staff to improve skills and knowledge within the unit
• Applying effective knowledge and skills utilising the adult learning principle in the preparation, delivery and facilitation of teaching an learning
• Assisting staff in meeting mandatory education such as e-learning modules and practical competencies and helping them to facilitate their professional development
• Encouraging and implementing evidence-based practice to maintain currency based on the objective and compliance with the hospital policy and procedures
