• Administers the Tools & Equipment Management System, keeping all records current and accurate.
• Handles tool acceptance, inspections, imports, and data entry within the system.
• Manages calibration/testing cycles: retires and reinstates tools as required and updates all records.
• Supports the Tooling Executive/Superintendent with procurement, repair, maintenance, and manufacture of tooling and equipment.
• Trains and advises end-users on safe use, handling, and transport of tools and equipment.
• Monitors and maintains tools through scheduled inspections, lubrication, and cleaning; performs minor repairs within training scope.
• Disassembles/assembles tools and equipment for initial acceptance and for pre-/post-shipment requirements.
• Troubleshoots and resolves daily production issues to prevent downtime, including minor redesigns, modifications, and repairs of tooling and equipment as needed.
• Escalates unreturned or damaged tools/equipment to superiors and prepares reports to initiate returns or investigations.
• Prepares post-inspection reports and records findings in the Tools & Equipment Management System.
• Provides suppliers with approved technical specs for new buys and repairs, ensuring quality and fit-for-purpose.
• Coordinates multi-vendor procurement in line with OMM purchasing policy, meeting scope, cost, and lead-time targets for Production

• My duties were:
• Making sure the van is stocked up with all the necessary equipment and different types of vehicles batteries.
• Keeping the van in immaculate condition whilst also preforming mechanical duties when needed.
• Changing flat tires on site
• Opening locked cars when necessary due to keys being lost or locked inside.
• Jump starting vehicles with the necessary equipment.
• Up selling Batteries whilst also Installing new ones on site.
• Filling out all necessary forms including VAT receipts, warranties, Memberships and contracts.

• Whilst also working as a mechanic I worked with Sani Tech as a part time, My main duties where:
• Delivering & Picking up mobile toilets from establishments as well as events.
• Preparing Both Van and toilets with the necessary products and items.
• Collecting Payments and issuing receipts.
• Assembling and repairing toilets when needed.

• My main duties as mechanic where:
• Calculating & verifying the estimated parts required for repair.
• Repairing and servicing vehicles booked into the workshop.
• Ensuring the correct specialist tools are used to carry out repairs.
• Servicing, timing belts, cam belts.
• Stripping / fitting and repair all makes and models of accident damaged cars.
• Carrying out inspections and reconditioning of vehicles.
• Stripping, fitting and replacing components on vehicles.
• Liaising with customers and service reception staff.
• Making sure the work bay & garage is tidy and safe to work in.
• Carrying out test drives on vehicles to diagnose existing faults.
• Investigation faults using special mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Ordering or picking up parts from suppliers.
• Checking every critical part of a vehicle, including belts, hoses, plugs, brake and fuel systems.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Aware of safety regulations when lifting heavy tools and parts.
• Ability to identify & diagnose vehicle faults.
• Experience of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.
• Experience & knowledge of the latest IT technologies used in fault diagnosis.
• Experience of mechanical work at a car dealer franchises, petrol stations and auto supply store.
