• Creating Detailed 3D Models
• - Develop a professional 3D steel model using TEKLA software, based on the engineer's detailed design specifications.
• - Implement connections for beams, columns, and trusses in compliance with the engineer's specifications and/or HERA (Heavy Engineering Research Association) approvals.
• Preparations of Drawings
• - Produce precise General Arrangement (GA) and detailed connection drawings for submission to the council and distribution to contractors, including fabricators.
• Collaboration with Engineers and Architects
• - Collaborate effectively with structural engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify design intent and address potential issues.
• - Contribute to the review and interpretation of project design specifications and plans, ensuring compliance with established requirements and standards.
• Model Coordination and Clash Detection.
• - Ensure model alignment by uploading it to Trimble Connect, allowing other disciplines, such as Revit and ArchiCAD, to review and identify potential clashes.
• - Use Tekla Structures clash detection tools to identify and resolve conflicts before construction begins.
• Shop Drawings and Detailing
• - Review submitted drawings (plans and assembly) from fabricators to ensure accurate details are applied prior to approval or the commencement of the construction phase

• - Develop detailed 3D models of steel structures, including beams, columns, trusses, frames, connections and model steel components to reflect design intent, fabrication requirements, and structural stability.
• - Provide accurate detailing for steel connections, including bolt, weld, and plate arrangements and ensure that all connection details (moment connections, shear connections) are clearly represented and easy to fabricate.
• - Creating Assembly and Erection Drawings and Generate erection drawings that show how the steel structure should be installed on-site.
• - Coordination and work closely with structural engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure design requirements and project specifications are met. Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure the integration of steel with other building components, avoiding clashes.
• - Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs directly from the Tekla model, ensuring that all required materials are accounted for and accurately listed and Provide accurate material quantities for ordering and procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective fabrication.
• - Perform clash detection within the Tekla model to identify potential conflicts with other building systems or structural elements and collaborate with the design and construction teams to resolve clashes before they impact the fabrication or construction process.
• - Update the Tekla model and drawings based on changes to the design, field conditions, or client requests and ensure that the revisions are reflected in all relevant documentation and that the most current model and drawings are used throughout the project.
• - Perform quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the steel detailing work and ensure that all details in the Tekla model and drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• - Provide support to the fabrication team by answering questions and clarifying any design details or inconsistencies in the drawings and assist the construction team by providing on-site support to resolve any issues related to steel detailing or fabrication.
• - Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and models to create accurate steel details and ensure that the steel detailing aligns with the structural engineer’s design and the architectural intent.
• - Utilize Tekla Structures’ features for managing project data, such as version control, document management, and model organization and maintain proper file structures and ensure efficient data management throughout the project lifecycle.

• - Generates 3d Model using Tekla 14.0 (Xsteel) and ensures its modeled in precision.
• - Prepares Erection and fabrication drawings in a presentable, easily understandable manner.
• - Provide support for CNC machine operator
• - Generates Bill of materials for Quantity surveyors.
• - Rebar Detailing of corewalls, Slabs, Concrete Stairs
• - Maintains upto date model and documentation.

• - Read and evaluate Structural and Architectural Designs
• - Prepares 3d model using Tekla (Xsteel), Generates 2d output of erection, fabrication drawings in a correct, exact , presentable, easily understandable manner.
• - Prepares RFI and sketches
• - Generates Bill of materials for Quantity surveyors.
• - Rebar Detailing of corewalls, Slabs, Concrete Stairs

• - Interpret and analyze given architectural/structural design drawings and present in fabrication ready drawings using Autocad/Intellicad.
• - Prepare shop drawing, erection plan, material take-off.
