Work History

OWNER ON TARGET SPORTING ARMS

Self-employeed
08.2005 - Current

As a long term licensed firearms dealer my understanding of the law and legislation around the weapons act is extensive.

I have opened two new stores over the past thirteen years at both Keperra and Enoggera.

This has given me " from scratch" experience in sections 76-87 of the act in relationship to premise compliance.

As a current subscriber to the FADR and 13+ year dealer license holder, I am completely understanding of the legislation relating to incoming, outgoing, transfers, brokerage and reporting process regarding inventory and current possession of firearms.

As a firearms instructor registered through PSQ (pistol shooting Qld) and licensed through Qld WLB, my knowledge of firearm parts, registrable components, restricted items and interstate law variances is extensive.

Skills

Over the last 25 years, I have spent available oportunities working with Tony in shop learning the more technical aspects of armoury

My knowledge of firearms, extensive shotgun experience including US trained Kolar service agent training in Racine WI gave me a solid basis to move forward with Tony

The knowledge Tony has passed on and continues to do for the next six (6) months will continue to be invaluable

Having the luxury of Nicholas Argent ( Tony's Son) a 10 employee of the company as an employee and Aaron Harrison also a US trained Armourer will make TSE a one stop firearms armoury and repair outlet for all types of firearms

The ability to coincide this with the retail aspect of On Target Sporting Arms makes this purchase and exciting business move going forward
