• Perform forklift and Franna crane daily inspections

• Create purchase orders to order gas, fuel and any other required parts

• Drive 7.5T forklift
• Drive Franna crane to mount water tanks and vacuum units to truck chassis

I started at Alex Fraser as a plant operator. After three years I became Plant Supervisor & two years later stepped into the Plant Managers roll. During this time I performed many tasks which are listed in dot point below.

• Conducted safety audits and inspections to identify workplace hazards and deficiencies.
• Prepare Authority To Work Permits (ATWP) to eliminate unsafe situations & practices.
• Develop and maintain plant Isolation procedures & documentation.
• Isolation leader - train & asses operators in all areas of plant isolation & related documentation.
• Induct contractors and visitors into the plant environment.
• Develop & maintain documentation for daily inspections of process critical equipment.
• Organise plant maintenance & shutdowns.
• Order all materials required for asphalt plant production.

(sand, lime, aggregates, bitumen, fuel)

• Take asphalt samples & perform laboratory tests to ensure the finished product meets customer requirements.

• Performed thorough inspections of incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Evaluated samples against standards by completing measurements, visual inspections, and other established tests.
• Maintained quality documentation and records for conformance with relevant standards.
• Collaborated with production staff to improve processes, reduce defects and optimize quality.
