Gloria Zhu

I am skilled in team collaboration and exceptional customer service, always approaching challenges and tasks with a positive and practical attitude. I adapt to diverse needs while fostering a positive learning environment. I offer strong communication from my regular after-school speech classes. I am able to utilize my strong organizational skills, with a genuine interest in contributing to a collaborative work environment and learning on the job. As i was brought up with compassion, patience, and gratitude especially towards my sibling and cousins. I have an brilliant understanding of time management and ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. Ready to use and develop problem-solving and multitasking skills inn every task given to me.

I have participated in speech classes since junior school, and I proudly pride myself on getting a high distinction in every grade I have had. This year, I have completed my bronze medallion in school. To obtain this award, one had to demonstrate perseverance, collaboration, and courage. I've also taken part in a course of Cadets where we stayed out in the wilderness for 8 days, I participated in long hikes, demonstrated survival skills, and made new friendships. Furthermore, I'm currently doing Duke of Ed, which made me experience more advanced situations on the Year 9 camp, making me develop more discipline and gain more insights on life.

I participate in a range of dance classes such as international dance technique, jazz, yr 9 hip hop. As well as participating in competition teams, such as the Hip Hop Crew, where my team attends events to perform and compete with others. I play many sports that my school offers each term, and I've played soccer, basketball, and netball for the last three years. I am also a dedicated musician on track to complete the highest level of violin grading. Actively volunteer performance skills for charity fundraisers and community events, using music to support important causes.

To gain the Bronze Medallion award, I had to demonstrate several abilities and showcase survival skills. This included accomplishing 16 continuous laps of 25 metre lengths. An A was swimming under 10 minutes, and I achieved an A grade by finishing the laps in 8 minutes. I also demonstrated survival skills by head towing people, assisting them back to the shallow end, and retrieving a mannequin from the bottom of the pool.
