I am a medical doctor with 3+ years of postgraduate clinical experience across the UK NHS and the Australian healthcare system, currently working under AHPRA provisional registration at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide, within Older Persons Mental Health Services (Psychiatry). My clinical background includes Emergency Medicine, Acute and Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Trauma & Orthopaedics, and Women’s Health, providing a broad and practical foundation relevant to occupational and environmental medicine.
I hold full GMC registration (UK) and completed UK Foundation Training (FY1–FY2) at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow. I have developed strong skills in clinical assessment, risk evaluation, and multidisciplinary collaboration in high-pressure environments. My procedural experience includes arterial and venous access, lumbar puncture, suprapubic catheterisation, wound closure, joint reductions, and early pregnancy ultrasound under supervision. I have independently managed antenatal patients, prescribed in obstetric clinics, and assisted in operative obstetrics including LSCS and MROP.
I have a strong interest in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, particularly workplace health assessments, fitness for duty, injury management, return-to-work planning, and capacity assessments. My experience in psychiatry and emergency care has strengthened my ability to assess the interface between physical health, mental health, and occupational functioning.
I am keen to pursue a formal career pathway in Occupational and Environmental Medicine in Australia, including work-based assessments and postgraduate training, and I am actively exploring completion of a Diploma in Occupational and/or Environmental Health. I am committed to developing expertise in evidence-based workplace health, injury prevention, and sustainable workforce outcomes within the Australian system.
Completed a 12-month supervised internship with clinical exposure across core hospital rotations.
