With over fifteen years of experience in the mining industry twelve of them being with Fortescue. I am a highly motivated individual who upholds a high level in all aspects of my work, with a particular focus on detail and with keeping in mind a scheduled time frame. Through this experience and exposure, developing a comprehensive and sensible approach to adhering to safety, whilst also instilling the value of safety within teams I have led. I have taken a leadership position in all roles since completing my apprenticeship either officially as Team leader/Supervisor or simply by mentoring younger and less experienced workmates. I take pride in my work and satisfaction from sharing my knowledge to build up those around me to make a safer more efficient workplace. Autonomous Technician Advanced

  • Promoting, coaching, and mentoring staff to strengthen the autonomy team's safety policies and procedures for all workers and contractors
  • Delivering a safe working environment and ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely
  • Act with integrity by leading by example, ensuring that all activities are completed in a safe and compliant manner, holding those who do not to account, and fostering and maintaining a better safety culture for everybody
  • Perform all obligations set forth in the Health, Safety, and Environmental Policies
  • Administrative activities such as creating and approving notifications and Work Orders using SAP as a 2IC/Supervisor, as well as finding and buying materials using SAP and OEM material part numbers

  • Use of Minestar to fault find helping the crew technicians before they head out to jobs, also using it to priorities jobs in a timely manner.

  • Ensuring scheduled completion rate is achieved safely and on track with the best standards making sure the MBTF is trending in the right direction
  • ITR / RRA is key to ensuring we are not only keeping up moral with exciting new tooling and raising ideas as department but ensuring we are capturing / preventing with the assistance of our SWI’s fatalities or equipment damage by setting up the AHS team for success with then correcting tooling or procedures though this active engagement, also captured in our monthly SCAM meetings which are captured in BMS
  • Communication in is my stronger sides which was found with experience and eagerness to have production at its best and making sure that other departments are aligned with the end goal of getting the machine back into production together
  • Stretched target PTO’s and FL’s to ensure we are providing our teams with the latest up to date SWI’s and paperwork
  • Run every pre-start with enthusiasm to start the day off with high moral and expectations of safety
  • Ensure all REMS data and SAP is up to date prior to handing over to the incoming crew
  • Following up on handovers from the technicians ensuring they are also capturing the data required to keep performance and safety continuing throughout the next shift
  • Working closely with Flanders / CAT / Westrac / Liebherr to have all machines align with the scheduled plan.
