- My role at Gexacare has been as a disability support worker working with a range of clients with different needs and facilitating their needs in different ways, some of my duties have been supporting a client with PPG feeding tube including safe tube feeding and medication administration as per care plans. Assisting with mobility and personal care, including manual handling and wheelchair transfers. Providing emotional and practical support true clients with complex mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, anxiety, depression. Promoting community engagement, social interaction and daily routine stability for clients with autism. I have worked collaboratively with families, allied health professionals in case managers to ensure holistic care for clients.
