The businesses are involved in manufacturing, offshore estimating and architectural drafting services, supplying & installing energy efficiency products to residential construction, and a commercial construction business.

Key Responsibilities;

· Working capital management

o Optimise operating cash flow through forecasting & monitoring

o Negotiate & secure finance facilities, mitigate credit risk & forex exposure

· Debt & equity funding

o Raise & allocate resources to fund strategic growth projects

o Opportunity identification, project appraisal & prioritization

· Governance & Compliance

o Maintain financial integrity & compliance across Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam & the USA

o Lead strategic tax planning, audit & review to support ethical behaviour & meet regulatory requirements

· Operational Excellence

o Leverage technology to automate manual tasks & remove duplication

o ERP implementation & set up. Financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting

o Mentor & build high performing teams through team design & structure, set for scalability

o Review team capability & development needs, collaborate with business leaders

· Stakeholder management

o Establish trusted partnerships across 5 countries: audit & tax, insurance, banks & finance

• Prepare monthly management accounts
• Prepare budgeting, and variance analysis across departments
• Lead payroll processing and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and internal controls
• Monthly financial reconciliations and processes
• Prepare the BAS and FBT returns
• Ad hoc accounting duties
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable and receivable functions
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, process documentation, and system improvements

Reporting to the Finance Director for the APAC region, oversee the finance & accounting function for a US owned, mining services business with 3 manufacturing locations in Australia. $160m turnover / 50 heads.

Key Responsibilities;

· Monthly reporting

o Prepare & submit monthly management accounts

o Analyse variance to budget & provide commentary

o Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

· Finance Lead

o Monitor team of transactional finance staff
