I had a happy childhood, the youngest of four children. I grew up in Allambie Heights and my childhood and adolescent years were dominated by my love of sport, in particular Rugby League. I completed my education in year 10 to follow my dream of becoming a professional Rugby League player while completing a 4 year apprenticeship in Stereotyping. recruited by Tweed Heads Seagulls Rugby League Club in 1980 at the age of 22 and was named captain/coach in 1989. I traveled overseas to play for a French team. I also played for Manly Warringah Sea Eagles for a short period of time. I then relocated to the Northern Territory and continued my playing/coaching career in Qld until the age of 45 when I relocated back to Allambie Heights to become the sole carer of my elderly parents. During this time I believe I showed a tremendous amount of empathy, respect, patience and care. My parents had both passed away by April 2015 which is when I reentered the workforce. I am married, have one son, four grown stepchildren, 7 grandchildren and one great grandson. Family is very important to me.
Sole Caregiver for my elderly parents. No qualifications required.

I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my family. I like to keep my mind as active as possible and thoroughly enjoy all crosswords and quizzes.
