This covered roles from crew member, Crew Leader Divisional Commander and Australasian Interagency Incident Management System, (AIIMS), functional roles officers in Incident Control, Operations, Planning, Public Information, and Logistics.

  • 2010-2023 ACT Emergency Service Agency - Rural Fire Service Superintendent Manager Community Bushfire Protection.

Roles included: Incident management during bushfire and multi hazard response events. Cross border liaison with NSW fire and emergency response agencies, cross border/all tenure strategic hazard reduction planning., representing ACT ESA & RFS on Australasian Fire Authorities Council, (AFAC), Bushfire Standards Technical Committee 2012-2023.

Strategic planner and interagency liaison for large scale hazard reductions, assessed and followed established proceedures to resolve bushfire hazard complaints, rostered on call Duty Officer for the FSC Team to respond and coordinate 50 volunteer brigades to provide 24 hour fire protection.
