NGTT (Next-Generation Transmission Technology) and NGCE (Next-Generation Core Equipment) Project

Site Mobilization & Access Coordination:

• Arranging access to Exchange, Hub, FAN, CEV, GSM, BTS, Data Centres, and Customer Premises, including key collection when required.
• Utilizing Qtrac and Helix via the Principle’s Corporate Network for access verification, task sign-off, and documentation attachment.

Materials Management & Network Installation:

• Managing materials at Principal Hub, Mobile Site, CEV site, TEBA Cat 1 as agreed with the Principle PM.
• Installation and commissioning of MS-NTU, including labeling, consumables, and associated items per Bill of Materials (BOM)(e.g., circuit breakers, power cabling, patching cables).

Network Testing & Migration:

• Conducting service level tests on existing transmission infrastructure.
• Performing cutover from existing to new transmission services.
• Recovering redundant NTU equipment -migration/cutover and submitting MRA documentation in Helix.
• Completing As-Built documentation for Commission builds, including photos, checklist, and WHS compliance.

Field Engineering & System Upgrades:

• Migrating, reshuffling, decommissioning, and recovering existing services and equipment per Helix scope, in coordination with Provisioning Engineers.
• Submitting HOD & checklist upon completion of assigned tasks.
• Installing new Aggregator within racks, completing As-Built documentation in Helix, and performing cutover of existing AA to establish interim ring connectivity with the new AA.

UNIFY Project - FTTx

Fiber Installation & Maintenance:

• Installing and maintaining fiber broadband services, including optical cross connects, optical network units, station connections, drop cables, network interface devices, and demarcation panels.
• Performing inside wiring and customer premise equipment installations to establish seamless broadband connectivity.

Network Testing & Troubleshooting:

• Conducting fiber cross-connects on distribution frames to ensure proper network integration.
• Using OTDR (Optical Time-Domain Reflectometers), power meters, and light sources to test and verify fiber optic connections.
• Diagnosing and resolving fiber network faults through basic fiber find-and-fix procedures to meet customer commitments efficiently.

Equipment Deployment & Network Upgrades:

• Installing and maintaining fiber broadband network equipment to optimize service reliability.
• Performing exchange transfers, fiber patching, and infrastructure upgrades as required and-fix to maximize meeting customer commitments.

OMMA Project – FTTC (Fiber to the Curb) & FTTN (Fiber to the Node) &FTTB( Fiber to the Basement)

• Fiber Jointing & Termination: Performing mechanical and fusion splicing to ensure fiber optic cables link efficiently to Distribution Point Units (DPUs) located in telecom pits.
• Splicing & OTDR Testing: Conducting fiber link testing to verify signal quality and optimize transmission.
• Exchange Transfers & Patching: Executing exchange transfers, fiber patching, and rerouting connections as required for network updates.
• Copper Cabling Installation: Installing and terminating copper cables to connect premises wall sockets for NBN service activation.
• NBN FTTC Project Support: Acting as a subcontractor for the NBN FTTC Project, focusing on successful customer service activation.
• Physical Network Connection: Establishing connections at the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and replacing first outlet sockets when required.
• Cable Plans & Design Interpretation: Reviewing and interpreting cable plans and technical designs for accurate implementation.

OMMA Project – FTTB & HFC

• Successfully activated and deployed numerous NBN HFC and FTTB services, ensuring seamless connectivity.
• Improved efficiency in cable modem activation and MDF connections, reducing service downtime.
• Assisted in large-scale telecommunications projects, contributing to high-performance broadband networks.
