I have the skills to work actively and effectively in clinical as well as teaching activities. In my current position as an anesthetic consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, I am actively involved managing high risk elective, emergency and major trauma patients. I am very proactive in doing bedside teaching and research. I run monthly CICO simulation session within the Anaesthesia department and participate as an instructor at the Wet lab airway teaching at SAHMRI. I am actively involved in medical students teaching at the University of Adelaide. I am a qualified ALS 2 instructor as well. I am keen to join the interview panel for the specialist international medical graduate as it provides an opportunity to contribute to the rigorous evaluation and integration of skilled medical professionals into our health care system. Being a specialist international medical specialist myself and having diverse experience and commitment to excellence in medicine make me well suited to assess candidate’s qualifications and competencies. This role allows to ensure that our medical standards are upheld, fostering a high level of care for patients, and enhancing the overall quality of our healthcare workforce.
