  • Assist in resolving consumer complaints through conciliation under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This involves understanding the rights and responsibilities of both consumers and traders across various sectors such as retail, automotive, and tenancy.
  • Engage with consumers and traders using telephone and email correspondence during conciliation.
  • Prepare and submit closing reports for parties involved, detailing the final outcome met through mediation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to escalate complaints for review where breaches in ACL are present.
  • Offer advice and education to the consumer and trader on how to appropriately conduct business practices, in accordance with ACL standards.
  • Manage a portfolio of 40 complaints to maintain monthly KPI's.
  • Answering inbound queries through the call centre.
  • Review the history of a company or business conduct to understand its overall track record, reputation, and compliance with consumer laws.
