Rossie Young People's Trust is a multi-award winning, trauma informed child and youth care organisation that provides support and accommodation for young people aged 10-18 years old, who have been exposed to multiple adverse childhood experiences resulting in many complex needs and vulnerabilities. In my role as a Residential Care Worker, it was my responsibility to provide a safe, caring environment to the young people residing at Rossie and to build positive professional relationships with the young people and other professionals to ensure that their physical, emotional, social, health and educational needs are met.
Sense Scotland is a charity and specialised social care provider supporting people with communication support needs and their families. In my role as a Support Practitioner I provided emotional and practical support to 8 individuals in a residential setting who have a varying diagnosis', including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aspergers, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and hearing impairment.
My position of a senior waiting staff member gave me experience of supervising staff ensuring we were giving the best service possible and efficient running of the restaurant. My duties included;

As a support service assistant I developed my IT skills. I provided support to the support services manager to complete the day to day tasks of the office dealing with National Railcards, Disabled Railcards and Transport for London Oyster Cards. My duties included;
I value my social life a great deal and enjoy spending time with friends and family. I am an avid music fan and love going to gigs/festivals and collecting records. I also enjoy reading, walking and experiencing new places.
I am also an accomplished Highland and Irish dancer which has allowed me to travel to various countries to perform, including France, Ireland, China and Thailand.
