After winning a sporting scholarship through Macksville Public School in 2021 I commenced horse riding lessons. Twelve months after undertaking lessons I purchased my first horse that then saw me begin my passion for horse husbandry and endurance riding, completing an introductory and 10km ride in the first year. I continued with my horse riding lessons which allowed me to purchase my second horse where I have learnt aspects of horse education, breaking techniques, hoof trimming and furthered my education on long distance endurance training and vetting for young horses. Currently I am training my 7yo horse to compete in his first endurance ride of 20km, having previously gained 2nd place in the John's River 2023 20km endurance ride. My future goal is to successfully complete a 80km endurance ride on my own trained horse.
