Summary

Graduate Social Worker, having obtained a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) from Curtin University. Throughout this degree, I completed placements in Hospital/Policy and Child Protection contexts, and achieved first class honours for my thesis regarding the mistreatment of older Aboriginal people in rural and remote Western Australia.   • Providing support, direction and consultation to the team regarding case practice and management.

  • Managing a complex caseload of predominantly reunification and intensive family support cases, which involve a high level of Departmental involvement, including sighting children in line with the high risk infant policy, working closely with involved services and families, safety planning and consultation with upper management.
