As the current Archives and Disposal Officer (AO3) acting in higher duties within the Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD), I have demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle of NTPF records, particularly those of a sensitive or permanent nature. My nominal position as Archives, Lending, Retrieval and Disposal Officer (AO2) has seen me actively contribute to the daily operations of the DCDD archive facility, which holds NT Police Force (NTPF) paper records.
I have developed a strong capability in the transfer, storage, appraisal, sentencing, and disposal of records in accordance with authorised records disposal schedules and Northern Territory Government Records Management Standards. I regularly process internal research requests and archiving projects for NTPF, support historical search requests, locate specific information required for NT Supreme and NT Local courts drafting written response to operational members, digitise corporate and operational records, and manage the secure destruction of physical paper records.
Recently, I have contributed to the digitisation and disposal of large-scale collections, including NT Fire and Emergency Services and legacy NTPF records, reducing archive holdings and preparing more than 600 boxes for external transfer. I also provide archive and records management advice and research services to senior executive staff, operational police, and administrative personnel, supporting timely and sensitive requests, such as those from SafeNT and the NTPF Information Management Section. My work ensures recordkeeping practices remain compliant, responsive, and aligned with DCDD and NTPF objectives.

Under the supervision and direction of the Archives Supervisor, my role is responsible for delivering a client focussed lending, filing and retrieval service. Undertake the destruction and disposal of NTPF records in the archive facility, assist in the cataloguing of records that supports the business accountability of the agency. This position is primarily responsible for undertaking the research and retrieval of records requested by members of NT Police Force and NT Fire and Emergency Services as well as recording, re-boxing and cataloguing incoming files for storage at the archive facility.

I am currently acting in higher duties as Records Officer, during this development opportunity I have demonstrated experience delivering a high-quality of records management services in alignment with Northern Territory Government (NTG) standards and the Information Act. This role requires a proactive and organised approach to supporting the records manager and records management team, Content Manager (TRM), including maintaining, updating, creating TRM record locations, TRM User profiles and undertaking daily TRM system audits. With a strong focus on service delivery, I also contribute to the development of internal records management procedures and provide critical support to the NTPF administrative staff and frontline members. This position is central to fostering best-practice recordkeeping, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring legislative compliance across NTPF. In this role I have shown my experience in exercising initiative, discretion and confidentiality.
During my time in this position, it has provided me with the opportunity to work closely on significant high level and operational projects: for example, the separation and transfer of the NTPF Information Management function over to Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD). Scanning and digitising projects such as processing historical PROMIS and Prosecution files, coordination and relocation of physical records.

I am currently acting in higher duties as Records Officer, during this development opportunity I have contributed to the delivery of an efficient and compliant records management service that promotes awareness, understanding, and best-practice standards across the agency. I provide accurate advice and practical support to staff and frontline members on records management procedures, ensuring compliance with the Information Act and NT Government standards.
With proven experience using electronic document and records management systems such as Content Manager (TRM), I assist in the registration, cataloguing, digitisation, and sentencing of records, including historical documents, Police Notebooks and Journals. I actively support the development and maintenance of location structures within TRM, as well as the reboxing and examination of records for secure secondary storage. My strong communication and interpersonal skills enable me to work collaboratively within a team, while my attention to detail, discretion, and ability to manage competing priorities ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes in all aspects of records management.
I have proven experience both oral and written communication skills specific to the management of information and the provision of advice in processes and procedures in managing records in compliance with NTG standards.

My position responsibility is to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all visitors to the Darwin Entertainment Centre.
Participate as directed in set-up and clean-up (before, during and after) of front of house (FOH) areas including the foyer, bar, public areas, and amenities
Set-up activities include coordinating seating, tables, decoration, and catering.
While the theatre is professionally cleaned weekly it is the FOH team's responsibility to maintain and clean the foyer, theatre and public areas including amenities throughout the week.
Be alert to safety and security issues at all times
Take action to promptly address and report any issues as they arise, to ensure safety of self, patrons, staff and volunteers.
Act to ensuring smooth and efficient operations are maintained in accordance with Show Briefs (as communicated by FOH Supervisor), DEC policies and procedures, and applicable regulations and OH&S policy.
Facilitate access by visitors to the Centre to/from the venue and venue facilities in a courteous and efficient manner, including location and direction to appropriate door access, allocated seating, elevators, and mobility aids, with a view to safety and comfort at all times.
Re-direct visitors and restrict unauthorised access to secure areas as may be required.
Maintain high level customer service standards, ensuring all communication is respectful and courteous.
