I was excited to see your advertisement for a 'Traineeship in Supply Chain Logistics' as have been looking at study options in this very area. I would love to be given the opportunity to work and learn hands on in the field while studying.
Whether it be through where I have been employed, raising my children or in one of my volunteer roles, I have gained and developed a range of skills, including; multitasking, self discipline, learning to hear and respect differing perspectives with a desire to learn from those around me, working and communicating with an international team to deliver community projects. I believe my varied experience, teachable heart and devotion to serving others will make me a great asset to your team.
I have my drivers license, current first Aid and CPR, and an Employment WWCC.
International Development - Initiating Community
Projects - Liberia (West Africa) 2018 - Present
I have had the privilege of working alongside a community In Liberia for the past five years, I was able to visit in early 2018. Over the years we have worked effectively together, through partnership, initiating projects that have had significant community impact. This includes; farmer education programs, sustainable agriculture projects, empowering women through workshops to boost skills through self employment. Plans to partner in future projects are in seed form.
I have had the opprtunity to grow in many areas such as; listening, learning and persevering through challenges and failures, making space for others to share and explore their ideas, working with language barriers, patience and consistency.
