In my role as an apprentice painter I have learnt and obtained many different skills including:

• Working efficiently and cohesively as a team and an individual
• Covering surfaces with dropsheets or masking tape to ensure these surfaces are protected
• Applying paint, stain, varnish, enamel, or other finishes to equipment, buildings, bridges, or other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers.
• Understanding and successfully performing Job safety analysis documents, safe work method statements and service reports
• Setting up scaffold, swing gates ladders, to work above ground level
• Correctly using multiple air compressed tools i.e. Needle gun, Grinder and Sander to prepare different surfaces including timber and metal

During my first year I have experienced an array of commercial and industrial situations, which has further allowed me to understand the different aspects of painting

• During my role as a Gymnastics coach, I was required to teach younger children new skills and develop their strength, whilst also demonstrating discipline and respect
• As well as being their coach I was able to provide the children with an older role model and someone who they are able to look up to.
• Coaching the kids involved a lot of interaction and conversations with parents and carers allowing me to be constantly improving my communication skills
• With these flaws I was presented with coach of the year in 2019
• My responsibilities included: Ensuring safety for all children, Communication with parents and staff, regarding student feedback and complying with safety policy’s and regulations.
• Whilst being a coach my main goal was to create a good culture of sportsmanship, cooperation and responsibility among athletes and coaching staff.

• As an employee at Mr Crown, I was in a part-time position working regularly on Friday and Saturday nights
• With this position I was required to speak and communicate openly with a team and serve customers
• As well as this I was required to clean all bathrooms, seating areas and glass wear ensuring they are safe for all patrons to use
• Mr Crown also requires your RSA course to be completed, meaning I have successfully completed this course; proving that I am competent in serving and delivering alcohol, have the ability to recognise and distinguish intoxication, and have the confidence to inform patrons about the rules and regulations of the premises.

• At JB-HI-FI, I was part of the merchandising/software team in a casual position
• As part of this position I have completed several training modules during the time I have been working
• During my employment I have encountered several problem-solving situations; dealing with reversals, phone calls and constant customer encounters
• Whilst employed I have spent most of my time at the counter frequently learning new skills, allowing me to now be confident at the counter by myself
• While learning new skills I am still constantly improving on customer service, communication and working as a team
• These skills have highly impacted my performance at work
• I am capable in the following features at JB-HI-FI: Dealing with money and excessive amounts, Working as a team and individual, Following the JB-HI-FI policies, Communication between employees and customers, Serving and greeting customers.

• The role of a Crew Trainer also plays a huge importance on being a role model for other crew and is expected that you are always in full uniform, punctual & on time, and reliable
• As a Crew Trainer I maintained open communication with crew members, resulting in successful outcomes and provided ongoing coaching and mentoring to crew members to increase productivity levels.
• Worked successfully with diverse group of coworkers to accomplish goals and address issues related to our products and services.
• Maintained strong knowledge of Customer satisfaction and communication by participating in workshops, conferences and online education classes.

• At McDonald's, I was achieving my Cert III in Retail and was in a part-time position
• Throughout my time at McDonald's, I completed various optional courses to enhance my communication skills, development leadership qualities, and gained insight on the huge importance of planning ahead and reacting to immediate problems
• I was proficient in the following aspects of McDonald's: Organising crew and their positions in our restaurant, the handling of excessive amount of money, serving and greeting customers and following the policies of McDonald's.
• During my time at McDonald's I was able to correctly resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
• I was able to proficiently notify kitchen staff of shortages or special orders, prompting appropriate action and keeping wait times short.
