• Conducting safe and efficient operation and troubleshooting of fixed plant equipment such as jaw and cone crushers, stackers, reclaimers, conveyor belts, hydrocyclones, pumps, instrument air valves, drum scrubbers, grinding mills, mineral screens, mineral sizers, feeders, thickeners and classifiers
• Plant control via distributed control systems such as Delta V and SCADA
• Performing the responsibility of Permit and Isolation Officer, including isolation design and switching of LV electrical equipment
• Mathematical aptitude and foundational knowledge of electrical principles and systems supported by 2 years of hands on experience as an apprentice electrician in the domestic and commercial sector
• Completion of a number of units and modules of Certificate II in Electrotechnology and Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• Maintaining a safety focused, efficient and positive workplace culture through adaptive leadership
