PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Image Recognition-Based Target Capture Robot                          2021

Group Project 

  • Designed and built a robot that identifies, locates, navigates, and captures target objects, in collaboration with a Mechanical Engineering student.
  • Developed the image recognition and pathfinding program for the robot using Python. The custom-trained deep learning model enables rapid and highly accurate recognition on a Raspberry Pi.
  • This project won the 2021 Engineering Design Award from Monash University.

Table Tennis Auto Server                                                                  2022-2023

Final Year Project 

  • The project was completed independently. The server in this project can store and launch multiple table tennis balls at various speeds, range of angles, and in different spin patterns.
  • Developed the control system based on PSoC, designed circuits including multiple systems, and modeled the machnical compentants of the server.
  • The project achieved a high score of 85/100, marked as High Distinction.
