Enhanced Video Description Generation through Multi-Modal Machine Learning Fusion

This project developed a video captioning method that leverages multi-modal information fusion, significantly enhancing the accuracy and detail of video content descriptions. By integrating appearance, motion, and high-level semantic information from videos through feature concatenation and attention mechanisms, the model outperforms baseline and existing methods in accuracy and detail. This approach addresses the limitations of previous models that relied on single-mode information, demonstrating the effectiveness of multi-modal fusion in video captioning tasks.
