- Maintain cool room and ensure stock rotation
- Receive and organise deliveries including milk crates, roll cages, tobacco supplies, and ambient goods
- Provide customer service, process transactions, and ensure store safety
- Independently manage full store operations overnight
STUDY GAP EXPLANATION (May 2023 – July 2024)
After completing my Senior School Examination in March 2023 and receiving results in May 2023, I planned to pursue higher education in computer science. Due to personal financial circumstances, I postponed enrolling immediately and prepared for the July intake.
During this period, I used my time productively by:
- Completing foundational IT training through Livewire (Aug–Dec 2023)
- Exploring different career pathways in technology to identify a suitable field
- Preparing for and completing my English proficiency test (Jan–Mar 2024)
- Working with my tutor to strengthen academic readiness
- Applying for university admissions and preparing financial documents
- Processing my student loan application through Punjab National Bank, which was delayed due to end-of-year banking workload
I later received my offer letter from QUT for the Bachelor of Information Technology on 23 August 2024 for the February 2025 intake, followed by my COE and visa processing.
