• Participating and contributing to daily team prestart meetings, liaising with management and supervisors to relay important safety information, and offering suggestions to improve safety, productivity and morale.

• Complete detailed pre‑starts and post‑trip inspections including minor maintenance of trucks and machinery before operating, checking lights, electrics, fluids, oils, tyre pressure, hydraulics, steering, suspension, GPS systems, cab, electrics and reporting any defects.

• Displaying a culture where safety is a core value, adhering to company and site safety procedures including JHAʼs, SOPʼs, Main Roads Legislations, hazard identification and reporting, understanding of laws and regulations including TBCCCʼs and ensuring full compliance with all relevant safety, quality control and production KPIs objectives were met.
