APA Port Hedland Solar Farm 45MW - Civil Supervision and Engineering for road and wider civil construction, for final 3 week push on construction activities. Works involved directing site personal and working on design and construction issues, identifying machine control issues, as-builting via GPS, rover and base, concrete ramp installation for 13 inverter stations, set out for final trim earthwork operators, material procurement, client liaison, excavator, loader and skid steer operation for site clean-up and blue metal surfacing.

Cunderdin Solar Farm 128MW - Civil Engineer and Supervisor on project from clearing through to hot commissioning. Works involved management of site and site personnel, daily prestart, execution of works, procurement of construction materials, scheduling, estimating, design and drafting of composite UC steel bored pile foundations for 33kV switchroom, cable ladder designs for 33kV switchroom and Western Power relay room, driven pile foundations for inverters, batteries, electrical cabinets, design of creek crossing box culverts, creek crossing cable sections, road pavement.

Supervision of subcontractor Genus for construction of 12 x 2.0m diameter bored pile foundations to 8.5 and 11.0m depth, for the construction of the 132kV Transmission Line to Western Powers Network (Western Power Asset).

Civil supervision and engineering for construction of 132kV/33kV substation, bulk earthworks, civil foundations, structural steel assembly, utility pits and duct installation, item of note was construction of bund and landing of 125 tonne main transformer. Substation consisted of client and Western Power yards.

QA for the wider package of works, completion of ITCs and sign-off on as-builts and compiled ITPs.

Punchlisting and defect resolution.

Operation and maintenance facilities, including container dome, warehouse, back up generator, house transformer and bollards.

Management of subcontractors.

Site survey setout and asbuilting using GPS rover and basestation.

Engineer to Contract Technical Representative - $15 million enabling works contract for the Arlington housing development in Wellington New Zealand. Site was particularly challenging due to the high ground water table, variable underground rock profile and contaminated soils, notably asbestos.

Civil and Geotechnical Engineering Design - Wide range of civil and geotechnical design including retaining walls, flexible and rigid pavements, earthworks, three waters design and utilities (gas, telco and electrical routes). Projects of note include

• Arlington Development (vertical build works). 301 dwelling Wellington brownfield development.
• Wellington Parliament Future Accomodation Strategy. Managing design and drafting of the enabling works for proposed highrise development at NZ parliament
• Fonterra Wastewater Treatment Plants Whareroa and Te Awamutu. Flexible and ridgid pavement design.
• 2 - 12 Aitken Street National Archives building. Civil connections and utility Design Engineer for National Archives Hire Rise building.
• Trentham to Upper Hutt Double Tracking. Stormwater and Utilities for 2.7km railway development. Project won awards for innovation due to the model first approach, where workflow used Civil 3d and Navisworks software to interface with other Architectural packages such as Revit, Sketchup and ArchiCad.
