• For the first 3 years i still worked closely with my dad as we had generally 2 houses to tile a week including kitchen and hallway floors with living room sometimes added as a extra and varying 2-4 bathrooms/en suite with a splashback, all bathrooms included either a single feature wall or 3 walls enclosing the shower or bath.
• As soon as i got my driving license i then ventured out on my own and looked after sites myself overseeing up too 100 or more plots with generally 3-4 being tiled at a time, so i would get all the bathroom and kitchen floors ready to then have other tilers from the company come to help tile the walls.
• I also had 2 apprentices with me in the course of looking after my own sites and taught them how to tile

Worked for my dad prior to leaving school, we undertook lots of commercial work mainly including airports, shopping centres and shop refurbs.

For the first couple of years i was a labourer mainly grouting, manualy moving tiles and adhesive etc as my dad taught me to tile

Our work varied all over england working in different groups of people as my dad had a lot of contacts from companys which made me confident and able to meet and work with new people.
