Hawaiki Morrison

As Head of House prefect and Senior prefect in high school I learnt to hold a leadership position upholding cultural practices at school which lead me to doing things like leading the official welcome for guests like the NZ Black Ferns Rugby team, the education review office, and the gathering of independant schools from all over New Zealand and Australia. Along with this, I helped guide and lead the younger students through their high school journey. I have represented my school First XV for three years also playing for the Aotearoa Māori 7s squad and now a part of the junior pathways for the Gold Coast Titans. Lastly, at the end of this year I received the Headmaster’s Award for Service to the College in recognition of my various roles around the College and I have achieved “Excellence” grade university entrance.
