Ever since I was little, I have always wanted to do something within the medical profession – a Midwife was my dream - and while one day I may still get there, I am currently seeking a position within the medical field to give me experience and balance in life.
Whilst I didn’t get into Uni straight after school (I did complete the Tertiary Entrance Pathway at Notre Dame) I am still very interested in the medical field. I have had a few ups and downs in life, and now it’s time to start getting my life back on track and stick to a career that I would enjoy.
I have over 8 years of experience in customer service at Woolworths where I started at age 14 on the checkouts. I progressed to a Supervisor role before a short break and then returned to do online and a short stint as an Assistant Grocery Manager. During the break from Woolworths I worked for Atomic Sports and currently Hive marketing, selling tickets and subscriptions (not my long term goal).
I am a very approachable person, I'm kind and empathetic. I believe I liaise well with people from all cultural backgrounds - As a child growing up, I lived in California and Kazakhstan where we spent time with people from many countries and backgrounds.
I have experience with data entry and Excel, as well as a good understanding of technology use. I enjoy working within a team and believe I am a good contributor who is willing to listen and learn.
I’m hoping this job will help me start the career I want, and look forward to the training, support and opportunities this job will offer if I am a successful candidate.
