The National Institute for Lifelong Education (NILE) is a College in South Korea that is similar to TAFE in Australia. After studying for one year I was given the opportunity to become the Teacher's Assistant until I finished my degree. In this role, I went through the induction process for new students and assisted the professor in teaching a different class. Additionally, I had to allocate the quarterly budget to supplies (food, books, office supplies, etc.) used throughout the quarter. In addition to the allocation, my role was to order and organise all the supplies for all classrooms relating to my major. Lastly, students contacted me via calls/messages with any problems or issues they had at the college. My role was to communicate and assist them to ensure they had a smooth experience at the college.
